What is mish mish?

mish mish is an online site for buying art stuff. Mostly we concentrate on art zines and paraphernalia, but stay tuned for a virtual poster room and us breaking the rules and selling music. we’re interested in conceptual zines, small art books, avant-garde comics, narrative comics, photo zines, collaborative drawing zines, collage zines, comedy zines (!)etc etc….we welcome one-offs from anyone with the desire as well as stuff from other more seasoned self-publishers who are looking for new venues to sell their work. We also welcome objects and “multiples.” we work on a submission bases and review things together before selling them on the site. we welcome all submission and hope that if we don’t show an interest, that you will understand we are only two people and likely there is another space for it. we are a non-profic space, there is no consignment agreement. we just sell stuff we like by people we dig and all the money goes to them. mish mish was started by jesjit gill and laura mcCoy in spring 2009. mish mish is named after a cat who currently resides at 19 major in toronto ontario.
