Finding without within by Zuzana Hudackova on April 27th, 2009

Brooklyn - Shadow & Light study

TRUTH and real BEAUTY rest within the deep cracks of our inner and outer environments, in between the lines of our words, far behind our rational thoughts — dozing off in our unconsciousness — until we turn our inner spot light on them, inadvertently looking at ourselves. That is one of my greatest obstacles and simultaneously the most wonderful challenge in being an artist:  to continue to find dimensions in my work that know no boundaries, that are brave to continually explore the ever-changing abyss (those deep cracks), constantly searching for new truth and raw & poetic beauty that rests within everything around and inside us.

CONVERSATION in my mind … little battles of creative juices and logical meat — shedding concepts of what my mind thinks works, letting the intuition take over and be the queen of creation.
